Event Highlights:
For the past ten years, CRG has provided event management services for Microsoft's largest annual partner event, Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC). For 2007, 12,000+ attendees from all over the world convened in Denver to hear from Microsoft executives about new technologies and solutions, view product demonstrations, participate in hands-on labs and network with their Microsoft business development managers and other Microsoft partners. Strategy, experience and practice resulted in the CRG team successfully directing over 12,000 attendees into general session. CRG also managed the many logistical elements that are required to ensure an event of this size is a success, including managing the budget, transportation, 200 side meetings, security, signage including providing international signage, structured networking with over 8,000 meetings booked, a welcome reception, and an expo, to name just a few.
Registering and housing over 12,000 attendees is no small feat. The CRG housing team worked with 32 hotels and managed over 35,000 room nights during the conference. Attendees experienced streamlined registration check-in and accurate badge information with our on demand badge printing solution and strategic on-site check-in plan. With check-in numbers reaching up to 11,756 a day, CRG registered up to 884 attendees in one hour!
