Event Highlights:
The goal for this meeting was to conduct intensive training as well as reward top producers for their achievements during the previous fiscal year. The event included a welcome reception, product fair, general session, breakouts, award ceremony, dine-around evening event, daytime activities and a final night party. CRG created a customized online registration website, which provided Medtronic with their first online branding registration experience, resulting in 92% of attendees utilizing the tool to register for the event. In addition to providing an efficient registration process, CRG’s logistical expertise was instrumental in refining the execution of this event, allowing it to progress to the next level and raise the bar for attendee experience in years to come in terms of staging, production and overall organization.

We provided many recommendations that were successfully implemented into the event. Among our recommendations were to reduce the awards ceremony from a four to five hour event to a 90-minute show. This was well received by attendees as it allowed more free time to socialize and network, which was crucial after several days of training. Many of our suggestions focused on changing the format for the ancillary events to a more upscale, sophisticated experience than previous years, which created a “wow” factor among attendees. Keeping within budgetary goals was also our top priority. One of the ways we did this was by  repurposing the general session room for the award ceremony by changing the lighting, furniture and background stage colors. The audience enjoyed the new look and feel of the room, and it provided a cost savings to the client.
